This will be the quartets first gig at the excellent Woolley Festival. Rob and the quartet are very much looking forward to their performance alongside some amazing UK jazz stars including Courtney Pine.

Photo: Locally based master drummer and DW Clinician Robert Brian has, like many gifted session players, worked with many people - among them Robert Plant, Peter Gabriel, Coati Mundi, Hugh Cornwall, Simple Minds, and since 2007 he has been a regular fixture of Siouxsie Sioux’s live band.

But it is jazz that is his first love, and The Robert Brian Quartet pays tribute to the vanguard of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s Jazzmen, with passionate and inventive interpretations, delivered with sincerity and intensity.
