This single went to number 1 on the UK iTunes Country chart in early January 2023!

This is the first number 1 country song I’ve had and it felt pretty good 🙂

The band is amazing and we recorded the rhythm tracks outside on the balcony of  their beautiful house, and you can hear woodpeckers and other woodland noises after and during each take!

Loreena McKennitt bass player Dudley Phillips got me on the session and it was really great to work with him again. The album will be released over the next few months along with some other videos/singles, so look out for it!

The kit I used on this session was my 1968 Ludwig Super Classic and my Vulcan Cymbals.
