Rob will be gigging with Pat and the band at this festival in Nailsea.

Pat started playing guitar at the age of 12 and developed a passion for Blues, Country and Rock music.

Over the years Pat has opened up for Terry Wilson, Dave Tice (Buffalo, The Count Bishops, The Headhunters), The Party Boys featuring Alan Lancaster (Status Quo), Israel Gripka, The Webb Sisters, amongst others.

Building upon his growing reputation as a solo performer and with his band, Pat has just released his first Album entitled ‘Roll With It’.

The album title is a metaphor for the ineffability of life in that all we can do is to take the highs with the lows. With this underlying theme Nicholson explores a range of topics including the joy of a daughter (Josephine), temptation (Love, Pleasure & Pain) and attacks those who govern us but betray the very trust we place in them (Voodoo Doll).

His lyrics are well-crafted and eloquent. If that was not enough Nicholson is also a deft guitarist who has the confidence and panache to know when less is more. That is reflected in the band, Joe Allen on bass and Eddie John on drums. Together they play with an economy that bring his lyrics and melodies to the fore. ‘Roll With It’ was recorded, mixed and mastered in just three days, displaying Pat’s “let’s do it” attitude towards life.

Pat has performed on stages throughout Australia, Canada and the UK utilizing some of each country’s finest musicians.
