I along with Earthworm/Amber Studios in Swindon, invite you to sign up for a day course to learn all about drumming in the recording studio environment. It’s a one day course where you will learn everything from the mic’ing of the drum kit, microphone choices, room placement and understanding the complete recording chain, right through to the tuning of the drums, drum head/kit choice, charting for songs, working with clicks, working on your dynamics/musicality in the studio and much, much more..
All the information you’ll learn throughout the day will help you in a professional/remote studio session and will greatly improve your drumming & drum sound in the studio environment.
The course is £165 and is only open to 4 students at a time so the demand is very high, so please check the upcoming dates and email if you would like to book a space.

I am very happy to be gigging with good friend and fellow musical traveller Innes Sibun at the Bar Brunel in Bridgewater on August the 19th. I gigged with Innes for about 15 years and made 5 or 6 albums with him & the band, and played on countless gigs & tours. It’s always a pleasure working with him and the amazing Hammond organ player Tim Blackmore, and the groovy & reliable bass of Mr. Steve Hall.
I cannot help steering the band into slightly fusiony waters from time to time even though it’s classed as a blues band, the spirit of Tony Williams ‘Lifetime’ group and Jeff Beck’s early solo albums loom large in my ‘take’ on the material. The great thing is that Innes digs these styles too so together with Tim & Steve, we go exploring strange and beautiful musical lands on some conventional blues forms.
Come along and strap yourself in for a groovy session, it starts at 6:30!!
I am delighted to be attending this amazing drum show in October, not just as a performer but also as a vintage drum enthusiast! I shall be trying extra hard not to buy anything even though I know I’m going to be sooooo tempted!! Lol
So, whether you are a collector or new to the whole vintage drum phenomenon, come along and see these amazing historical drum kits up close. I’ll be playing some choice vintage snares & kits on Saturday the 13th at 2pm, and talking about how I combine my own vintage gear with my modern DW set up.
See you there for a catch up and a beer!!
Littlemen are chuffed to be supporting the amazing band The Blockheads on November the 25th, at The Neeld in Chippenham. It’ll be great exposure for our band playing in the venue that I used to gig in when I was 18 years old! It’ll be great to return to the venue and I recommend you buy your tickets quick as it’s going to be a good ‘un!!!
